After
2 days at sea, we finally arrived at our first destination - the U.S. Island
of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.

Apparently, 'non-natives' can't own the land they build their homes on, they can only rent it. I wonder what they'd do with those multi million $ homes if the lease was revoked?

Although St. Thomas is part of the U.S., this is one of the first things we saw as we left the ship to go into town.
We didn't take any pictures in town as we'd been there so many times before, but here's one taken on the tram coming back.
